KnotKnot Yarnables was created out of a love of fiber and the people who make it. I'm inspired by nature for both design and color choice, and many of the natural fibers I work with - wool, cotton, silk, alpaca, and linen - are organic, up- or re-cycled, local, and sustainably produced.

I love collaborating with female growers and dyers who are finding ways to take care of the world - you'll see their names mentioned in item descriptions. I also love dyeing my own fiber using environmentally-friendly and botanical dyes. Thus my crochet cardigans, ponchos, vests, blankets, handbags, and pillow covers are infused by a long line of love, care, and passion.

Working fiber with my hands is a natural extension of my life as a professional harpist, artist, cat- and fish-mother, traveler, teacher, gardener, baker, and overall maker.

I live and create on the land that is unceded territory of the Hopewell, Myaamia, and other Indigenous peoples in what we now call central Ohio, and because I support and celebrate Black, POC, Indigenous and LGBTQ lives, Iā€™m committed to the lifelong work of dismantling the delusion of white supremacy.

Thank you for visiting - I'd love to hear from you.
